CAJUN STYLE BAKED RIBS
This dish is my husband’s absolute favorite! He’ll eat the entire slab if I let him. Perfect for a get together, cookout, or just a special dinner night with family.

This was a new one for me, trying to create something delicious for a team member’s going away party at work. Most of my meals/dishes are very meat forward, but she’s vegan so we tried to make her a meal she’d remember. This tofu recipe blends the flavors, techniques, and style of a normal barbecue, but replaces the meat with extra firm tofu.
I prepare this dish every weekend. The kids and I love it!
Chicken smoked in smoker with choice of beer. Turns out moist and so good. Can eat straight or make into tacos, sandwiches, or really anything requiring rotisserie style chicken.
As a culinary student who dreamed of going to Japan, this recipe is a nod to ‘quick’ food. Although having a lot of components, this dish comes together in one bowl to create a flavor harmony of taste, texture, and appearance. This recipe was the first dish I was proud to feed my family.
Who doesn’t love French Toast? Especially Stuffed French Toast! But the fat & calories relegate it to a decadent breakfast treat we only allow ourselves on special occasions. My grilled version swaps butter for a scant bit of healthy olive oil. Substituting agave for white sugar & Greek yogurt for cream cheese also decrease fat & calories & increase health benefits. The vitamins in fresh fruit & a homemade strawberry balsamic drizzle seal the deal. No you can have French Toast whenever you want!
This burger serves as a double entendre because its made in Louisiana (the boot state) and the spice provides a kick in the teeth! This is my original recipe and has ingredients that can be cooked ahead of time or right on the spot!
After living in Hawai’i for almost 13 years, you learn to adapt a breakfast burrito or sandwich wrap to the amazing ingredients that are over grown in your yard. This is a result of an abundance of avocados, bananas and pineapples … with a twist.
