
Pressure Cooker Quick Refried Pinto Beans

About the dish: A super fast way to whip up a batch of Refried Beans! No soaking or hours of cooking needed. These super flavorful beans will be a family staple.

Ingredients:
2 Cups Pinto Beans
4 Cups Water
2 Garlic Cloves, Peeled and chopped
1/2 Onion
1 Tsp Salt
2 Tsp Cumin
1 Tsp Chili Powder ( more or less per your preference)
Preparation:
Put all ingredients into the pressure cooker. Make sure valve is sealed and set the time for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, allow for a natural release (about 15 minutes). Carefully remove lid from pressure cooker and spoon the beans into a food processor. Add in about 1/3 cup of liquid left from cooking and beans and begin to pulse the beans in the processor to desired smoothness.
Add Salt and / or pepper to your liking.
