Ranch fried cauliflower

About the dish: My grandma loves fried cauliflower, so I learned to make it for her.

Ingredients:

Peanut oil for deep fryer

1 bag frozen cauliflower

2 cup all purpose baking mix

1 package hidden valley ranch seasoning

1 egg

1/4 C milk

2 TBS Smoked paprika

1 TBS onion powder

Salt & pepper

2 sprigs chopped green onions.

(For southwest ranch drizzle)

1/4 C Ranch dressing

2 TBS sour cream

½ tsp Smoked paprika

½ tsp onion powder

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp Chili powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:

Heat oil to 425°

Mix egg and milk, season with salt and pepper.

Mix dry ingredients in bowl with lid and toss frozen cauliflower until coated.

Toss in dredge mixture and back into the flour. Put top on container and SHAKE IT!!!

Fry until golden brown and place on draining rack.

Mix ingredients for sauce

Plate in pile with southwest ranch drizzle and chopped spring onion.
