Carmel Apple Tostadas

About the dish: This is a tasty fresh green apple dessert, which is crispy, crunchy, sweet, sour, and salty!

Serves: 4

Estimated Time: 30 to 60 Minutes

Ingredients:

4 flour tortillas, lightly fry, and dust with cinnamon sugar
1/3 cup sugar, 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon: mix
2 large or 3 small granny smith apples, peeled and diced (any apples you like will work)
4 ounces cream cheese softened
3 tables spoons of sour cream
1 table spoon brown sugar
2 Tablespoon peanut butter, crunchy or smooth
1 chopped regular size Snickers Bar
Caramel Sauce

Preparation:

Fry 4 flour tortillas, one at a time, in vegetable oil, until lightly crisp.
Use cinnamon and sugar combination to lightly dust fried shells when removing tortillas from oil.
Set Tortillas aside.
Put any remaining sugar in mixing bowl.
Add softened cream cheese, sour cream, peanut butter, brown sugar.
Mix all ingredients for 1 minute or until thoroughly combined.
Take off mixer, add chopped apples, and chopped Snickers Bar, fold into creamy mixture.
Top sugared tostadas with apple mixture
Drizzle top with caramel sauce for decoration.
