Apple Brie Apricot Pecan Pizza

About the cook: Wanted something different so this sweet savory pizza has become a family favorite. I love to serve this at my parties. It is a a great guest pleaser.

Ingredients:

6 Granny Smith apples peeled & sliced
2 tbsp. butter
2 cups apricot jam for your apple topping & 1 cup to drizzle on your cooked pizza & crust
2 cups pecans toasted & chopped
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
20 ounces Brie cheese
Pizza Dough Ingredients:
1 package quick rising yeast
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup warm water

Preparation:

In a large mixing bowl add your warm water & yeast set aside until it starts fermenting
Add your flour, salt & butter mix together & form a ball cover with plastic wrap & set aside let dough rise about 30 minutes.
While your dough is rising in a pan on medium high heat toast your chopped pecans for 3-4 minutes remove from heat & set aside
In the same pan add your butter, 2 cups apricot jam, apples, cinnamon, vanilla & ½ of your chopped pecans cook on low heat for about 10 minutes remove from heat & set aside.
In a pan on low heat warm your remaining apricot jam
Pre heat your oven on 325 degrees. On a floured surface roll out your dough place in you pie pan cook for 10 minutes remove from oven & add your apple topping, your sliced brie cheese cook for 20 minutes until cheese is melted &your dough is done remove top with the remaining toasted pecans, drizzle with your apricot jam.
Slice & serve warm served with love
