Eggless Butter cookies

About the dish: Butter cookie with just 6 ingredients. Very simple to make. This recipe will make 20 to 22 cookies.

Ingredients:

All purpose flour/ wheat flour/ mixture of both - 2.5 cups
Unsalted butter ( Room temperature) - 3/4 cup
Salt - 1 tsp ( skip it if using salted butter)
Vanilla extract - 1 tbsp
Sugar- 1/2 cup
Milk (any milk)- less than 1/4 cup

Preparation:

In a mixing bowl, add butter & sugar and beat well until sugar is mixed well. Add vanilla extract and mix well. Then add flour & salt and mix well until combined. Sprinkle some milk and knead it into a soft dough. Now shape the dough into a rectangle, wrap it with a plastic wrap and freeze it for 20 mins. Alternatively you can refrigerate for 1 hr. You can store it in a ziplock and refrigerate it till you are ready to make the cookies. Meanwhile preheat your oven to 350 F. After freezing for 20 mins, cut the cube into squares. Spread the cookie on a baking sheet and bake for 18 to 22 mins, depending on the thickness of the cookie. Take it out of oven when the cookie starts to brown. Cool down and store it in an airtight container. Yummy cookies are ready.
