My aunt was half Italian and taught me a lot in the kitchen, so I created this recipe in her honor. These zesty sausage and cheese stuffed shells with a crispy coating are perfect for serving on game day, at casual get togethers or holiday parties.
I had something similar served to me once in the Bahamas. As soon as I got home I tried to figure out what was in them and whipped up a batch of these and they came out delicious! Now there are always some on hand in my freezer.
